The St. Lucia Hotel & Tourism association's new magazine for hotel rooms features our photography both on the cover & insde, as well as an article on "Getting Married in Paradise."
In 2004 St. Lucia bid to host one round of matches in the World Cup Cricket 2007 Series. Aerial photography was needed and there were only 72 hours left before the deadline for the tendering of bids. Kirk Elliott Photography’s mandate was to produce aerial photography showing:
The new Beausejour Cricket Stadium
The location of surrounding properties
The fact that there is prime developmental lands surrounding the grounds
The proximity of essential Fire and Health facilities
The proximity of surrounding resorts
The road network into and out of the facility
Parking facilities
The near by golfing facilities…among quite a few other requirements
After having to abort the shoot after getting airborne, due to bad weather, the next day was do or die. We profited a let up in the rains, went out and did the shoot and the rest is now history…St. Lucia won its bid to host World Cup Cricket 2007!
For the actual Cricket World Cup we were contracted to produce Pole Banners & Billboards.
Aerial photography gives us a rush that is second to none, and the results tell the tale. Here we were busy making photos for St. Lucia Helicopters's (SLH's) website.
Windward & Leeward Brewery is the home of St. Lucia's very own PITON BEER. Here we were on a shoot to get a bird's eye view of the plant & its environs.
